Personally I think it is a total lie that entrepreneurs, or anyone for that matter, need to hustle in order to find success. In fact, I think too much hustle often leads to burn out, robbing you of success and energy to move forward.
I have found that incorporating spiritual practices into my daily routine has been incredibly beneficial for creating physical, mental, and emotional abundance--so much so that I have made spirituality a large part of my business coaching program.
Here are the top 7 spiritual practices I use to keep me energetic, inspired, and abundant:
Spiritual Practice #1: Yoga Free-Flow
As a Vinyasa yoga teacher, there is nothing I love more than to "flow." Especially after a long day, I don't want to have to follow rules or perfect alignment. I love to play music, come to my mat, and see what happens. So freeing!
Spiritual Practice #2: S.O.C. Journaling
Stream of consciousness journaling is my favorite kind. Without a plan, write down whatever comes to mind. Ditch the rules and let your mind flow. You'll be amazed how light you feel afterwards. Sometimes, you'll even get a really good idea for your business in the process!
Spiritual Practice #3: Crystal + Yoni Egg Practice
If I'm being 100% honest, part of my obsession with crystals is simply because they look so pretty. That being said, I really have noticed powerful energetic shifts since incorporating crystals into my meditation practice. If you want to take it to the #next-level, invest in a yoni egg. My personal favorite is the jade egg by Love Stone. I couldn't believe how grounded and connected I felt just after my first use!
Spiritual Practice #4: Anything Nature
Aside from the obvious benefits of being outdoors, connecting with nature allows you to unleash your creative energy--a must as an entrepreneur.
Spiritual Practice #5: Meditation & Breath
Whether you sit for a few minutes a day to observe your breath or explore a pranayama practice, you can experience powerful growth from your breath. When I find myself hustling too hard, I almost always notice I have lost the sense of presence in my life. If you are aware of your breath, you are automatically bringing yourself into the present.
Spiritual Practice #6: Get Artsy
Anything artistic can be an incredible spiritual practice. Many of you may not know this, but I was a dancer for over ten years. One of my favorite ways to release tension and stagnant energy is to blast music and dance. I also love singing/chanting--you can release so much by using your voice! Check out Nikki Slade and Janet Stone on spotify for guided chants.
Spiritual Practice #7: Utilize the Five Senses
One of my favorite ways to get totally present is to tune into my senses. Here are my favorites...
SIGHT: Crystals and nature
SENT: Essential Oils, sage, and palo santo
TASTE: Fruit and chocolate
TOUCH: Massage, comfy clothes, and soft blankets
SOUND: Sounds of nature, music, guided meditation
